Now August is over and September brings us into autumn, Brighton continues as if summer is still on.
If you missed the Big Screen on the beach, it is returning next year with its usual blend of old classics to most recent movies and at four quid a pop it is a great and cheap night out.
The Zip wire by the pier recently opened but at £15 pound a go I think it’s a bit expensive. I spoke to one of their team and they are looking at discounts for locals. Let’s hope they do. They have an option called “The Zip Drop.” Basically it’s a vertical drop from the zip tower to the beach floor and at £8.50 it’s more reasonable. Also remember the i360 does give a half price discount for residents as long you bring a utility bill e.g. Council tax bill to prove it. So depending on what weather apps you look at, most are promising some decent temperatures throughout the month, maybe give it a go.
Throughout the next month or so there is still a lot going on, I will list some of those as well as upcoming gigs for the music fans. A lot of them are selling fast so have a look and book before they do.

Hundreds of cars and motorbikes travel along Madeira Drive against the clock. As it’s Brighton, it will be a bit different than normal. Thousands turn up to this annual event so get there early.

Runners get a white t-shirt and as then for the run are blasted with paint…in a nice way. There is also a foam zone….so it will be a great event.
